I have been learning so much. My learning curve has been enormous...the projects here are so diverse that you have to have alot of different gears operating all at once. Its pretty amazing. This job calls for so much...realistic drawing,cartoons, everything in between, alot of problem solving for package illustrations, even some sculpture. Its great. 
I have started to learn a program called Zbrush...a digital sculpting program. Its incredibly hard so far and my progress has been very slow. But its fun...and i am excited to learn alot more. I just bought a z brush book that comes with some tutorials and hopefully that will speed things up a little.
I have also started a small business with my good friend and business partner, Max Highley. Its called Sunshine Jetpack. We are going to try and do a little bit of everything from apparel to toys. Its been great fun so far...and a great learning experience. Keep you eyes open for alot more from that....we are making alot faster progress now...so expect great things.
Also i have so much work right now that i have to put up on the site...i have been holding onto alot of the work i do for Pilot to allow the actual products to come out. So check back in the next few weeks there is gonna be alot more drawings and designs put up.

Well... about a year ago i moved back to my home state of massachusetts, and took a job with a small packaging and design firm called Pilot(http://pilotstudio.com/). I have been a part time in house artist for them for 11 months now.... and as of yesterday i became their first full time illustrator.  It is has been a very exciting time so far with them...they work on a wide variety of very exciting projects such as Star wars and clone wars,transformers,gi joe,battleship and other board games,puma,and hot wheels.

above is a few of the pieces that i had done for the clone wars packaging from last year...that became the main image for the franchise for the year.
