Tsingtao Beer | Year of the Monkey
Its not to often I get something as fun to do as this Illustration job. A fun painted Monkey King? I was so ready. The timeline was a little squished because of some scheduling issues, but it all got done on time. In the end they went in a whole different direction, just dropping a photo in, but I was still excited with how it came out.
the first set of sketches subbmitted , to try and get the pose. Number 1 was chosen.
A quick pencil to get the finer details worked out.
